Illinois’ medical marijuana program will be celebrating its first anniversary next week. The program has been growing steadily since inception. Over the last year, 12,000 patients have enrolled in the program.
Illinois releases medical marijuana figures monthly. And according to Sauk Valley, the figures show that $4.1 million in medical marijuana products were sold in October. These numbers are an increase in sales from last month.
Since the program began on November 9, 2014, Illinois reports a total of $28 million in medical marijuana sales.
