Illinois-Based Nonprofit to Host Cannabis Education Expo

GG Chronic Pain Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is hosting the Illinois Cannabis Education Expo on April 22. The event will last only one day. The doors will open at the Hilton Hotel in Northbrook at 8 a.m. and the event will run until 4 p.m.

Admission to the event is just $5, according to The Rock River Times. Those interested in attending can register in advance online, but tickets will also be available at the door. An exhibition hall will feature multiple marijuana-industry related businesses and ancillary businesses that play a role in the operations of marijuana businesses.

Two highlighted speakers at the event will be Dr. Jay Joshi from the National Pain Centers and Mahja Sulemanjee Bortocek from Greenhouse Group/Grassroots Cannabis. Attendees are encouraged to speak with the available physicians and businesses with displays to learn more about marijuana.
