Springfield Metro Area Dispensary Opening in January

On January 4, 2017, Grandview’s medical marijuana dispensary officially opens. This marks the 2^nd dispensary to open in Sangamon County. The necessary approvals have all been granted, so that the location can finally open its doors.

The dispensary will be located at 2272 North Grand Avenue East, Fox Illinois reports. Opening day was supposed to be three months ago, but due to construction delays the dispensary is just now receiving all of the necessary approvals to open.

Illinois requires employee approval for those wanting to work at a medical marijuana dispensary, and the dispensary is just waiting on those approvals to come through before opening.

The hours will be 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
